Evolution

In the 1987 serie Raphael isn't that different from his brother, just a bit sarcastical sometimes. Inside the comics he shows his true self as the hot heead full of hate sometimes and who gfet mad even for nothing. His tought way of be came out seriously only in the animations and movies where we can see how cynical and sarcastic he is. More of all he show how he feel the pessimism inside himself that he call "face the realty".

In my opinion the 4th movie show the true essence of Raphael, we can see any side of his evolution. The Nightwatcher is the feeling of justice that he have inside,but a justice without limits, a justice who makes him appear as the bad guy. He shows his anger against the brother Leonardo, try to show that he isn't less then him, not even less strong. We can see his internal conflict who he can't fight alone. And then we can see how much he cares of his brother and his family, how much that loves can give him inner frustrations.
